Virgin Trains were the headline partner of Solihull Summer Fest and wanted to use the opportunity to be creative and build a strong presence at the festival, delivering a great Virgin Trains customer experience, above and beyond what any of their competitors offer.

Solution

BluePeg were briefed with delivering the onsite brand activation for Virgin Trains. This included managing and producing the onsite area from design and concept through to build, developing event programme, timing and schedules and providing dedicated resource and full event management team.

BluePeg designed and created ‘The Virgin Trains First Class Lounge’ where guests got a taste of the Virgin Trains first class experience.

This included free food and drink, a selection of films currently screened on their onboard BEAM service, a large indoor and outdoor seating area with games and entertainment as well as a few surprise VIP guests.

Results

The onsite activation hosted over 1,000 guests over the 3 days as well as key Virgin Trains guests and stake holders. ‘The Virgin Trains First Class Lounge’ proved to be one of the most popular areas of the festival and perfectly showcased the Virgin Trains First Class service.
